Eighty-eight years of family milling
Tangthaiheng Company Limited is a family-owned rice mill in Thailand, founded in 1938 by Mr. Tong Sae-Tang. The mill began under the name Tang Tong Thai and was later renamed Tang Thai Heng (ตั้งไถ่เฮง · 陳泰興) — the name our community has trusted for 88 years and counting.
Across three generations, we have milled, selected and packed Thai rice with the care of a family business. Our own retail brand, Hi-Tech Rice (ข้าวตรา ไฮเทค), has earned a loyal following in the Koh Samui and Ban Phaeo markets, valued for consistent quality, bag after bag.
Incorporated as Tangthaiheng Company Limited in 2006, today we operate a modern packing line certified to GHP and HACCP standards — and are now extending the same quality from our home markets to international buyers, beginning with Hong Kong.
